Will CBD make me high?

No, CBD will not make you high. This cannabinoid does not possess any psychoactive properties, and as such, it cannot cause a high in anyone who consumes it. Hemp products produced with 0.3% THC or less is safe, legal and non psychoactive. Some patients have special reasons for wanting to completely avoid THC, even trace amounts. For that reason, we have Hemp Oil Care Spray Tincture. Completely THC free and available in in natural and spearmint flavors.

How is CBD made?

CBD is extracted from the cannabis plant using a few different methods of extraction. It may be extracted in isolation during the extraction process, which means no other cannabinoids or terpenes are included in the final product. It may also be extracted along with other cannabinoids, making it a “broad spectrum” or “full spectrum” CBD. When the CBD is extracted, the extracted oil is then harvested, cleared of potentially toxic substances, then distilled to result in a pure CBD oil.

How much CBD should I take?

There is no exact universal daily dosage of CBD. If you are new to CBD start at a low dose, such as 10-25mg and gradually increase as needed, until you achieve the desired effect. That said, studies have shown that CBD doses of anywhere from 20mg-100mg per day is safe for general purpose consumption with 25-80mg a common daily dosage for most purposes. It is common to consume CBD multiple times during the day for example, in the daytime for anxiety and at night for sleep.

Does CBD have any negative side effects?

No, CBD has not been shown to have any negative side effects. People who consume CBD are not at risk of overdose, withdrawal, or addiction, making it an attractive cannabinoid to consume to alleviate various symptoms without the fear of addiction and all the perils that come with it.

Will CBD make me fail a drug test?

Unless the CBD product you’re consuming contains more than a 0.3% level of THC, it will not make you fail a drug test. These tests are looking for illicit substances, such as THC. But CBD is a non-psychoactive compound that will not result in a failed test unless illicit substances are found along with it. That’s why it’s important to understand whether the CBD product you are consuming is derived from the hemp plant or whether it is derived from marijuana and is accompanied by THC. Some patients have special reasons for wanting to completely avoid THC, even trace amounts. For that reason, we have Hemp Oil Care Spray Tincture. Completely THC free and available in natural and spearmint flavors.
